| The Vicarage Museum (Pappilamuseo) |
The provincial governer von Willebrand built the vicarage out of clay and straw in 1800, but it had to be covered immediately by bricks because the materials couldn`t survive the Finnish weather. The clay vicarage, as the former vicarage, was opened as a museum in 1959. There you can see how a village pastor lived in the 1800s. There is also pharmacy equipment from the 1800s. Open in summer times. Address: Vaulammintie 2, Jokioinen Voluntary entry fee |
