The Vicarage Museum  (Pappilamuseo)
The Vigarage Museum

The provincial governer von Willebrand built the vicarage out of clay and straw in 1800, but it had to be covered immediately by bricks because the materials couldn`t survive the Finnish weather. The clay vicarage, as the former vicarage, was opened as a museum in 1959. There you can see how a village pastor lived in the 1800s. There is also pharmacy equipment from the 1800s.

Open in summer times.
